The Mulberry Practice provides health care services for people living in Sheffield who are seeking asylum in the UK, homeless or living in temporary or unstable accommodation.
We have a team with a vast knowledge and experience in dealing with the complex issues that these client groups often have and recognise the problems faced in accessing mainstream services.
Charter Row Lifehouse provides 57 units of supported accommodation for single men, aged 18+ who are experiencing homelessness for a period of up to a year. Clients need to be experiencing homelessness and have identified support needs around a lack of independent living skills. Support is provided on either a half board or bed and breakfast basis. £34 (Half Board) £18 (Bed and Breakfast) per week. All residents have access to a support worker and an activity programme which offers support with Education, Training and Employability Skills. Drop in services are also provided via Hanover Medical Centre / Devonshire Green (GP) and a range of other local partners.
Referrals to the service come via Howden House and Sheffield City Council's Housing Solutions team.
