Ben's Centre is a day centre and outreach programme that supports vulnerable drug/alcohol users and the homeless. They provide a non judgemental sanctuary for those who need it the most. Working within a harm reduction model, they are person centred and believe in a holistic and supportive approach. Their ethos helps them create strong and lasting relationships with their clients in order to facilitate a brighter future.

This project is committed to car for the weak and vulnerable and those in need. They provide support and love to any who come, regardless of their race, atheism, religion, sexuality, gender or age.
St Wilfrid’s Centre provides a safe space and welfare support (meals & drinks, clothing, sleeping bags, showers, laundry, advice and activities) for homeless and vulnerable people aged 18+.
The sessions are run in Victoria Hall Methodist church, using the entrance on George Street for access. We open the doors at 1.30pm, from which time we run a tea/coffee/soup bar. Guests also have access to books, board games, snooker and table football. At 2 pm a two-course hot lunch (prepared onsite by out volunteer kitchen team) is served. After the meal we revert to serving tea/coffee and soup.
