The Barnsley Support Hub offers free mental health support in a welcoming, comfortable, non-judgmental, and non-clinical environment. Their experienced staff team are available to provide emotional, social, and practical support if you are in crisis or heading toward a crisis. You can go just for a chat, or to access one-to-one emotional support from trained mental health professionals. Barnsley Support Hub also offer help in creating staying well and crisis plans, and support visitors to access other services and organisations that may be useful to them, either face to face, phone calls, email or video consultation
Who is this service for? Anyone aged 18 and over can come to the Barnsley Support Hub – you don’t need a formal referral or appointment.
The service is available for patients who need same-day care for minor illnesses and injuries but cannot wait to see their own GP, according to Local Care Direct. hey can assess, diagnose, and treat a range of minor illnesses and injuries, including ear, nose, and throat problems, sprains and strains, wound infections, and minor burns. However, the service is not suitable for patients under 6 months or with pregnancy-related issues.
Supporting vulnerable young people 13-24 yrs with employment information, training and learning courses, internet access, job searching, benefits advice, CV and application help, one-to-one support.
This project is for offenders only and accessible to those young people referred through the criminal justice system.
