Coffee mornings, Arts & Crafts Club
Beacon South Yorkshire are dedicated to supporting carers across South Yorkshire through physical and emotional support sessions like counselling, therapy, group and 1-2-1 sessions.
This is a new welcoming space for the community to access through winter & will be delivered one morning a week for 12 weeks to provide a safe warm space for the community. Join us for games/activities/reading materials, warm refreshments and support in accessing services such as welfare, health and wellbeing, employment, housing, etc.

Coffee mornings
Many Different activities and clubs including, Cafe, Book Club, Sporting memories group, information hub, choir , jigsaw club, knit and natter, craft club, lunch club, history group, sequence dance.
Free tea and coffee, access to a digital device and access to the internet, free WiFi, free device charging, TV, warm welcoming environment. Opening times Monday and Wednesday from 2pm till 5pm. There is no attendance cost.
Ben's Centre is a charity that aims to provide a safe space and an open hand to those who suffer substance misuse and its associated barriers.
- It is a ‘damp centre’ meaning clients are allowed to access the centre on Wilkinson Street while under the influence, as long as no substances are brought onto the premises.
- Outreach, Monday to Friday, offering advice, food and drink, clean clothes and the opportunity for a friendly chat.
We provide hot meals, showers, phone and internet access, a hub for other professionals to meet clients, laundry and activities
Coffee mornings
Sheffield rehoming, advice and behaviour unit supports pets and people across South Yorkshire and beyond. Offer rehoming, advice and behaviour services and work with partner charities and our network of volunteers. Drop in service (2pm – 4pm, closed Wednesdays).
- Homes Direct Scheme is for dogs, cats, rabbits and other small pets who can sadly no longer keep them but don’t need to find them a home straight away. Pets stay in their existing home until a new owner is found for them.
- Short term volunteer foster caring to needy dogs, cats or small pets in their own home.
- Pet food bank, no voucher or proof of need required. Provide pet food and other items such as bedding and cat litter.
Works with the local council to tackle housing related issues. Adults between 18-65 welcome. Contact for more details. high standards and high quality services.
Bridge-It Housing provides housing and support to families, single males and females. We do not discriminate by race, colour or religion and see each client as an individual, a human being, with the ability to, with the right support, turn their life around.
