Age UK Rotherham is an independent local charity that helps to deliver services and activities for older people in Rotherham aimed at helping people stay connected and engaged within their local communities and Rotherham in general. Age UK Rotherham offers a free and confidential information and advice service for older people, their families and carers as well as Linkline, which is a telephone service available on weekdays (excluding Bank holidays) which provides older people with a friendly phone call each weekday morning to offer reassurance and support to help alleviate loneliness and isolation.

Their developments offer you a place of your own to live, but with the security and company of a dedicated team of managers and housekeepers close by whenever you need them. Free coffee and Biscuits, Free WiFi Free, Phone charging. Natter meets on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am at St Thomas Crookes for people 60 years and older. 

Activities include :

• Thom's Blokes: A mid-week group for men of all ages, offering various activities.
• Knit and Natter: A crafting group open to various crafts, not just knitting, with provided materials.
• Thom's Golden Folks: A social group for people over 60, meeting twice a month for activities and meals. It's £3 per session and this includes tea/coffee and cake in the first Tuesday of the month from 1pm to 3pm. On the 3rd Thursday of the month 12.45pm-3pm, this includes a 2 course lunch with tea/coffee and biscuits, with time to chat and socialise. £8 per session.
