We are a volunteer-run library, offering library services to all as part of the Sheffield Libraries.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Currently we have a public cafe open 9.30am - 3.30pm serving value for money hot and cold meals and drinks. In the near future we hope that we will be able to offer a dedicated space for the community to access on a daily basis with access to IT etc, run by volunteers but we are not in a position to offer this yet as the space needs some adaptation, which we are trying to raise the funds to complete. CAMHS stands for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. CAMHS are the NHS service that assesses and treats young people with emotional, behaviourable or mental health issues.

Barnsley's central library offering daily activities and groups on top of usual library services. Including Conversation Club to improve English, Culture Hub, Job Club

Provides supported accommodation services for homeless young people across Barnsley. Although we are unable to take direct referrals into these services, feel free to contact our offices.
It also runs the free-phone Centrepoint Helpline, a national service for any young person aged 16-25 who is worried about homelessness.

This project supports young single homeless people aged 16-21 with support needs. Priority will be given to applicants with a local connection in Sheffield. Access to these services is through the Council’s Housing Support Pathway.

Choice Housing Trust is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2004, and we have been providing supported housing in Sheffield since 2011.  We currently provide 37 rooms in ten shared houses across Sheffield, and have provided over 185,000 nights of accommodation and support for single people experiencing homelessness.  We accept referrals from multiple homelessness organisations, as well as from statutory services such as local authorities, NHS, and Probation.  Referrals can be made via our website:  https://choicehousingtrust.org/
